Seminary: Hispano de Santa María de Guadalupe, Mexico City
Home Parish: Misión San Andrés, Silver Spring

My life before the seminary:
I graduated from high school in El Salvador and emigrated at 17 to the United States. I wanted to raise a family. I started working in a restaurant and focused on my job. I loved the customer service aspect so much and stayed for 10 years.

What convinced me to enter the seminary:
After achieving many material goals in my life, and traveling to many places, I experienced much loneliness and emptiness in my heart. Looking for more of God, and being happy to serve the Lord, motiviated me the most to discern my vocation.

Other interests:
I like to eat healthy foods, exercise, walk, listen to music, read, and meditate in moments of solitude. I really enjoy talking with older adults and learn a lot from them.
