Washington, DC
Seminary: North American
Home Parish: Sacred Heart, Bowie
I have a triplet sister and brother. No, we are not identical.
My life before the seminary:
I grew up in Crofton, Maryland, as (one of) the oldest of six children. I went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduation in the spring of 2018, I moved to Arlington, Virginia, where I spent the following two years working as a technical consultant, building computer applications for the Department of Defense.
What convinced me to enter the seminary:
After a resurgence in my love for the faith in college, I encountered priests who lived an authentic, holy, and joyful priesthood. A desire and love for priesthood began to form that I couldn’t shake. On a mission trip to Guadalupe, God revealed to me that this heartfelt desire that had grown may not just be mine, but His as well. After continued reflection, spiritual direction, and prayer, the next step in discernment became clear: to enter the seminary.
Other interests include:
I enjoy playing soccer, spiritual reading, playing guitar, rooting for the Baltimore Orioles, and anything UMD. Go Terps!
