My Life Before Seminary:
I grew up in the Archdiocese in St. Jane de Chantal Parish in Bethesda, MD. I attended St. Anselm’s Abbey School for middle and high school and then went to college at the University of Notre Dame where I studied philosophy and theology. After graduating from college in Spring 2015, I served for four years as an on-campus missionary to university students with an organization called FOCUS. As a missionary, I served in Fairfax, VA at George Mason University and abroad in Vienna, Austria.
What Convinced me to enter the Seminary:
During my time as a missionary, I grew greatly in my relationship with the Lord and realized that He was calling me to serve the Church as His priest. The Lord gave me the grace to recognize that I would never be happier than by giving my whole life to Him and His Church. He made the next step of entering the seminary clear and simple; all I had to do was say “yes.”
Other Interests Include:
I enjoy playing soccer, discussing philosophy, traveling, and learning new languages and cultures. I hope one day to make the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
