My life before the seminary:
I went to Saint Mary’s Ryken High School where I grew to appreciate philosophy and logic. I was also very active in the Boy Scouts of America where I got the chance to learn several lessons and go on several interesting adventures.
What convinced me to enter the seminary:
Since God is the most important thing there is I asked myself why would I want to do anything but dedicate my life to Him. After taking this question to both adoration and spiritual reading, the verses that stuck with me most were the appointing of the 72 and Jesus’ response to Peter to “Feed my sheep.” When I couldn’t get these thoughts out of my head, I decided to apply to the seminary.
Other interests include:
Hiking, wood carving, reading, and playing lacrosse.
