Third Theology Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary, Weston, Mass. Home Parish: St. Francis de Sales, D.C.
Graduate of U.S. Naval Academy. Spent 10 years with the Missionaries of Charity in northeast Washington, DC serving the poor.
My life before the seminary: Prior to attending seminary, I was privileged to spend 10 years with St. Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in northeast Washington, D.C., caring for the poor. I was formerly married and have been blessed with 3 grown children (a daughter and two sons); all are married and raising their families in California, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
What convinced me to enter the seminary: My devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and quiet reflection (prayer) convinced me to pursue a late vocation and enter the seminary.
