My Life Before Seminary:

I grew up as the third child out of the six that God graced my parents with, and up until first grade I went to St. Peter's Catholic School in Olney, MD. We then switched parishes to Saint John Neumann in Gaithersburg and began homeschooling using the Seton Homestudy Homeschool curriculum. We then moved out into the agricultral reserve near Damascus MD and started a 12.5 acre farm in a response to God calling my father to do so. We have an orchard, an apiary, about 40-50 chickens, and two 1/4 acre plots of land we cultivate. We have lived there since 2013. I started altar serving at age 9 and continued to do so until very shortly before leaving for seminary. God was always the most important person to me in my life, though I have definitely gotten off track here and there as we all generally do. However, I never let go of Him no matter how hard the world, other people, and my own fallen nature tried to make me loosen my grip. He truly is the rock on which we can weather any storm. Our Blessed Mother was instrumental to my spiritual growth and that clinging to God. From a very young age I have had a devotion to her, and she has truly taken care of me as no other mother can. I am so grateful to her.

What Convinced Me to Enter Seminary:

My mantra from my youth was "I don't want to do what I want to do, but what YOU want me to do Jesus". I knew that God had a perfect plan for me and I was determined to follow it. I felt the call to the priesthood at age 9, and I decided that I "wanted" to be a priest, though it may have been a bit of a frivolous decision, as nine-year-olds are wont to make. However, God continued to reaffirm this call outside of my firm desire to serve Him as the years rolled by. The encounters with Him became crazier and crazier, and each time He reaffirmed it was EXACTLY when I would begin to waver. I just waited until He gave me the chance to go, knowing that was where He was calling me the entire time. In March of 2020, He gave me the perfect opportunity through one of my dearest friends and now brother sem, Nathan Turska, in his decision to apply to the diocese of Baltimore to go to SJPII. God knows me so well ;3

Other Interests Include:

I love to bake, cook, and create my own variations of dishes and recipes to share with other people. I also like to create and mix (non-alchoholic)drinks!

I really enjoy being active, and volleyball(beach volleyball especially!) and soccer are my all-time favorite sports to play! I also love to climb!!!

I also love to sing, do voice impressions(God gave me a real talent there!), draw/illustrate, do pretty much anything with anyone!!!

I really, really enjoy spending time contemplating God's creation and spending quality one-on-one time with Him and every person I meet. God is everywhere and in everyone and it is so amazing to get to be able to meet Him in literally everyone I meet.
