Deacon Christopher Feist

• Fourth Theology •

Seminary: Mount Saint Mary’s
Home Parish: St. Aloysius, Leonardtown
Was on the high school sailing team for 4 years.

My life before the seminary:
I have one older sister and am originally from Southern California. My family moved to Maryland in 2009 where I started going to Catholic school and had a conversion to the Faith. I then attended St. Mary’s Ryken high school and entered seminary with three of my classmates right after graduating in 2016.

What convinced me to enter the seminary:
As I started high school, I met many great priests and seminarians especially through the Quo Vadis program. Through all four years, I steadily discerned my vocation through prayer, spiritual direction, and advice from good friends as well many Quo Vadis events. In the end, I would say I was convinced to enter by hearing the call from God in prayer, the help and example of others, and the steady pull on my heart toward seminary and the priesthood.

Other interests include:
Sailing, playing violin, soccer, frisbee, reading (especially history), hiking, and fishing.
