My life before the seminary:
Before seminary I was studying biology and playing lacrosse at McDaniel college with plans on pursuing a career as a physician’s assistant.
What convinced me to enter the seminary:
I had been seriously considering the possibility of entering seminary since the winter of my junior year of college. It wasn’t until I went on a mission trip to Panama, the summer after my junior year, that I realized that I was being called to enter the seminary. During my mission trip, I discovered a new type of peace and purpose through the attending of daily mass, consistent prayer, and service to others. After much reflection and prayer when I came home from my mission trip, God revealed that the best way for me to live my best life, with the most purpose, was to enter seminary.
