Seminary: Mount Saint Mary’s
Home Parish: St. Cecilia, St. Mary’s City
I played Clarence in a Middle school rendition of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

My life before the seminary:
I was a cradle Catholic in a homeschooling family of eight kids, where the the attitude was God first, family second. My two older brothers were always avid members of our church’s youth group, which led me to join and remain as a key member until entering seminary. I was a member of the Archdiocesan youth leadership team where a team of youth would assist archdiocesan events where the presence of youth was needed. Also during my two years of dual enrollment at the college of southern Maryland I was a member of InterVarsity which was a non-denominational bible study. But the last three years of high school I have been attending daily mass, and in the last two years I’ve worked for Father Scott Woods as his personal assistant.

What convinced me to enter the seminary:
I have attended Quo Vadis vocation events since the eight grade, where I truly opened myself to the possibility of entering seminary. My Spiritual director Fr. Scott Woods has been a great influence to me by encouraging me to find my vocation and showing utter joy upon answering his call to the priesthood. Most importantly, I found peace in wanting to fulfill Gods plan for me, and saw that God doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called.

Other interests include:
I am a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I have been studying Martial arts since the age of 11. I love playing rugby and volleyball.
