St. Joseph’s life wasn’t perfectly structured to do the most efficient work. As a result, he was able to be open to God’s work, and God turned him into a great man and a great saint.
In opening ourselves up to more of the vulnerabilities that life with less technology allows, we find ourselves more deeply immersed in the lives of others.
It was great to get to know these students better and see in my heart a desire to be a priest in the lives of these students. I saw that I could be a spiritual father for them.
